WEB – FTP computer setup (Switch Control Panel to classic view):
- Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs/Add-Remove Windows Components/Internet Information Services (IIS): Common Files, Documentation, FTP Service, Internet Information Services Snap-In, World Wide Web Service.
- Network Places/Properties/Local Area Connection/Properties/Internet Protocol (TCP-IP)/Properties: ( If no router; Obtain an IP address automatically)
Use the following IP address: 192.168.1.100
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default gateway: 192.168.1.254 (router IP address)
Use the following DNS server address:
Preferred DNS server: 151.164.23.201 (same as router)
Alternate DNS server: 151.168.1.8 (same as router)
- Control Panel/Windows Firewall/Advanced/Local Area Connection/Settings:
FTP Services
Remote Desktop
Web Server (HTTP) If using default port 80 if not /Add:
Discription of service: Web Server Port 1100
Name or IP address...: Technical (actual computer name or IP address)
External Port ………: 1100
Internal Port ……….: 80
- Control Panel/Windows Firewall/Exceptions:
File and Print Sharing.
Remote Assistance.
Internal IP: ftp://192.168.1.100 External IP: ftp://66.142.207.225

- Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Internet Information Services/“computer name” (Local Computer)/Web Sites/Default Web Site/Properties/Home Directory: Make changes as needed like *Directory Browsing.
* In order to view folders; the default Documents must be removed form the Home Directory folder or from the Default Documents list.
(Set to Port 80)
To enable User & PW uncheck under Directory Security/Edit; (no) Anonymous Access.
- Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Internet Information Services/“computer name” (Local Computer)/FTP Sites/Default FTP Site/Properties/Home Directory: Make changes as needed like Write.
(Set to Port 21)
To enable User & PW uncheck under Security Accounts; (don’t) Allow Anonymous Connection.
