About – Magutz

Magutz was founded in 2006 and has been evolving ever since. Located in Mid-East US, employs or more precisely exploits me and does all kinds of awesome things for its own good. I recommend you do the same for yourself.

In 2019 I began after many years of waiting, to look for my ideal property. It was extremely important to clearly have a picture of what I was pursuing, which I did. The size, location, terrain, weather and layout but most importantly… the budget! Having own 43 acres in the Adirondack mountains, I had a good idea of what these all was.

My search began in looking through the internet in a daily basis and keeping notes and a spreadsheet of all my findings, allowing me to make a good comparison between the properties and scoring them according to my preferences. After two years of searching and narrowing it down, I started contacting a few real-estate agents. Now, when it comes to land sales, most are not very cooperative. So, finding a willing and helpful person was key to my success. She was able to save me hundreds of hours of driving to useless places which would not meet my criteria. You see, the terrain had to have mountains and a stream with so much water flow and elevation drop. By her providing me the actual location and property documentation, I was able to analyze these details and eliminate many inadequate candidates.
